Cashier - Part Time

We are looking for a part-time cashier. In our store, a cashier runs a till and helps customers complete their shopping experience.

Job Description:

• Operate a point of sale system
• Scan and weigh grocery products
• Process card and cash transactions, count and provide change
• Greet customers
• Advise customers on where products are located
• Count cash drawer at end of shift
• Bag groceries
• Process refunds and exchanges

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• We will train you on our point of sale system, processes and how to do your job effectively
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach and lift items weighing up to 10kg
• Ability to multitask effectively
• Ability to count cash/change
